Made IN ITALY SCHOOL was set up in 2009 with the aim of promoting Professional Training Courses in the sectors in which Italy traditionally excels: Cuisine, Fashion & Design.
Its success derives from having adopted, since its foundation, an "innovative" method divided into phases based on the assumption: "the most prestigious Made in Italy crafts are learned only in the workplace".
Hence its peculiarity.
The Professional Courses of the "Cuisine" section, i.e. Haute Cuisine, Haute Patisserie and Wine Manager are based on the "three phases" method. After attending the 1st Phase, the "Theory" in class, students follow the 2nd and 3rd Phases of the chosen professional course, the "Laboratory" and "Training Apprenticeship" respectively, in places of excellence such as starred restaurants, pastry shops reviewed by the best international guides and other types of leading facilities in the Italian food and wine industry.
The Professional Courses of the "Fashion & Design" section, i.e. Haute Couture, Jewellery Design, Shoe Design, Interior Design, Car Design and Food Event Manager are based on the "two phases" method. After attending Phase I, the cycle of lessons in theoretical and practical techniques at the Academy, students follow the 2nd Phase, the "Training Apprenticeship" in famous Haute Couture Ateliers, prestigious Design and Architecture Firms, Bespoke handcrafted footwear manufacturers and many other types of companies symbolising Made in Italy.
Finally comes "Post apprenticeship job placement" - facilitation of entry into the working world through multiple services addressed to Academy graduates.
The revolutionary philosophy of the IGA - Made in Italy School stems from the observation of reality: only in the field can the reality of work be appreciated. It is only by learning techniques directly on the spot that you learn the essential secrets of a profession. This is the only way to ensure that a profession can be properly learnt and ensure faster access to a top-level professional and employment environment.
