The purpose of the course is to suggest a project procedure suitable for the realization of new product and design supply proposals.

70 HOURS OF THEORY AND DESIGN

The class is numerus clausus with at most five students.

The training course includes classroom and FABLAB exercises dedicated to the course. Where possible the student will realize his/her prototype as further proof of the techniques learned, including the actual capacity of the tools which he/she has learned to use during the course. For correct project development, at the end of the training course the student will present an individual dossier aimed at identifying the actual quality of the work done.

The course will be presented as a Workshop on the methodology of Brief development and prototyping in order to ensure the success of a good project. Particular attention will be given to 3D drawing on professional programs, which will enable students to become more familiar with their work.

Along with the knowledge acquired, the student will be able to communicate with the designer and support him/her in carrying out the work at the school's partner design facilities as a first practical apprenticeship for the subsequent possibility of entering the working world.

PRODUCT ENGINEERING

  • Feasibility study and research and study of associated working techniques

2D TECHNICAL DRAWING

PROTOTYPING/WORKSHOP

  • Production of prototypes c/o FABLAB, dedicated workshops, Lazio artisans - 3D printers / rapid prototyping
330 HOURS OF PRACTICAL INTERNSHIP

Practical training is the most important part of the IGA Interior Design Professional Course. Training is done inside selected facilities.

An aptitude interview makes it possible to understand the student's needs and motivations, useful for his or her correct placement in the different partner structures. Training attendance is flexible to meets the student's commitments, bearing in mind that weekly attendance (morning or afternoon) cannot be less than three working days and in any case cannot last more than 3 months.

In each facility there is a tutor of the IGA student who accompanies him/her along the entire study course. At the end of training, the I.G.A. DIPLOMA is awarded, a passepartout for the world of work, as well as certifying the student's attendance at the course, also bears, at the bottom, the signature of the stylist, thus becoming a real acknowledgment of the experience acquired.
